Information We Collect

When you use Healthy with Javier as a coaching client, we collect:

• Account information — your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify you to your coach.
• Health and fitness data — workout logs, exercise sets and reps, habit check-ins, and biomarkers you or your coach record (such as blood pressure, glucose, or body weight).
• Meal photos and descriptions — photos and notes you submit when logging meals, used only so your coach can review your nutrition.
• Form-check videos — short, muted video clips of you performing an exercise, recorded in the app only when your coach has scheduled a form check and only when you choose to record. See Form-Check Videos below.
• Messages — messages exchanged between you and your coach within the app.
• Session and booking data — scheduled coaching sessions and attendance, including data shared with our scheduling provider, TidyCal, to book and manage appointments.
• Device identifiers — each time the mobile app checks for an update, it sends an installation identifier to Expo, the service that hosts our app updates. It identifies your installation of the app so the right update is delivered. We do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If you are not a client and send the coaching enquiry form on our website, we collect the email address and optional phone number you enter and the page you sent it from. We use them to reply to you and for nothing else.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information solely to provide the coaching service: building and adjusting your programs, tracking your progress, communicating with you, and scheduling sessions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored with Supabase, a hosted database and authentication provider, and transmitted using encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to client data is restricted to your account and your coach's admin account.

Form-check videos are the one exception: they are stored in private object storage hosted by Cloudflare in the Asia-Pacific region, described in the next section.

Form-Check Videos

A form check is a workout your coach schedules so they can see how you move. When you open it, the app records a short, muted video of you performing the exercise — no audio is captured, the app never asks for microphone access, and the clip is not saved to your phone's photo library. Recording starts only after you tap to begin and stops when you tap done (or after 45 seconds), and you can retake or discard it before anything is sent.

• Why we record it — so your coach can review your technique and comment on it, optionally pointing at a moment in the clip. That is the only use.
• Where it is stored — in private object storage hosted by Cloudflare in the Asia-Pacific region, which may be outside the Philippines. The video is transferred over an encrypted connection and is not publicly reachable: the app opens it only through a temporary, signed link that expires within minutes.
• Who can see it — you and your coach. Nobody else, and it is never shared with any other client or used for marketing.
• How long we keep it — until you or your coach deletes it. Older checks are kept so you can compare your movement over time.
• How to delete it — open the form check in the app and tap delete; the video and the comments on it are removed from storage, and only the record that the workout was completed remains. You can also email javierpgomez@fitforlife.ph and ask us to delete any or all of your videos.

Who Can See Your Information

Only you and your coach can see your health, meal, form-check video, message, and session data. Staff access is limited to what's needed to operate the coaching service.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as you're an active client, so your coach can track progress over time.

To delete your account and everything associated with it, email javierpgomez@fitforlife.ph from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your account, your health and fitness records, your meal photos and descriptions, your form-check videos, your messages, and your session history within 30 days, and confirm by email when it's done. You don't need the app installed to make the request.

Children's Privacy

Healthy with Javier is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Accounts are created by the coach for existing coaching clients — there is no public sign-up.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
